PAULESI SIGNS MOU WITH SOCIETY OF UNDERUTILIZED LEGUMES (SUL), IITA ON ADVANCING SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY ACROSS AFRICA

The Pan African University Life and Earth Sciences Institute (PAULESI), University of Ibadan, and the Society of Underutilized Legumes (SUL), IITA, are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance our partnership in advancing sustainable agriculture and food security across Africa.

The signing ceremony brought together representatives from both organizations, including Prof. Mubo A. Sonibare, Director of PAULESI, and other senior management staff alongside Prof. Kehinde Soetan, Vice President of the Society of Underutilized Legumes (SUL), and fellow executive members, to officially formalize the collaboration.

Through the collaboration, we seek to jointly pursue the following objectives:

  • Research and development of underutilized legumes
  • Capacity building through training initiatives
  • Knowledge sharing and exchange programs
  • Promotion of sustainable agricultural practices

This partnership marks a significant milestone in our journey towards improving food security and promoting sustainable agriculture. We look forward to a productive and impactful collaboration!
