Dr. Amazigh Dib

Private Sector Coordinator 

Dr Amazigh Dib has been lecturer, researcher and conference officer in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences at the University of Tlemcen for many years. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics and he is responsible for the Theoretical Physics laboratory at the University of Tlemcen. His research theme is molecular dynamics. Since 2011, he has been Coordinateur B.L.E.U. with the Bureau de Liaison Entreprises Université at Tlemcen University. He was the Head of the Department of Physics for the Ecole Préparatoire en Sciences et Technologies EPST de Tlemcen from 2009-2010. He was also Head of HPC Project Intensive Calculations in 2010. In 2012, he was responsible for the Project R6 University-Private Sector-Relations in the framework of the European-Algerian programme PAPS-ESRS and Member of its National Task Force. From 2012-2013, he was charged with satellite physics of the future Palace of Discovery in Algiers, and he was an Expert for Innovative Projects for the ATRST (ex ANDRU; Agence Thématique de Recherche en Sciences et Technologie). 

Mr. Malik Bendimerad

Research Program Coordinator 

Mr. Malik Bendimerad is the new Research Program (RARSUS) Project Coordinator at PAUWES. He has been working with the Institute since February 2016 as Master Thesis Process consultant. His academic background is in economics and finance, as he holds a master's degree in Business Studies. His points of interests include sustainable development and renewable energies, as well as e-learning methods. 

Dr. Abdellah Benyoucef

Energy Coordinator 

Dr. Abdellah Benyoucef is an Associate Professor at Tlemcen University since 2010. He obtained his PhD in 2008 at the  Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard in France in the field of applied nanotechnologies. s. There, he was a lecturer for courses related to renewable energies. He joined the PAUWES team as Energy Program Coordinator in July 2017, where he is responsible for the development and quality assurance of the academic affairs in the field of energy. 

Dr. Chewki Ziani-Cherif

Deputy Director 

Chewki Ziani-Cherif received his DEA (M.Sc. equivalent) and Ph.D degrees from the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France. After completing two post-docs in the US and Canada, he joined Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida doing research on neurogedenerative diseases, and especially Alzheimer Disease, while lecturing at both the University of North Florida and the Community College in Jacksonville, Florida. He received an expert certification in Alzheimer Disease in 1999 by the Mayo Board of the Mayo Medical School. In 2002, He joined the University of Tlemcen, Algeria were he has been since active in full time lecturing and research.  Currently, he is full Professor of Organic and Neurochemistry,  while holding the position of Deputy Director of the Pan-African University for Energy and Water sciences (including climate change) PAUWES, located in Tlemcen, Algeria. Professor Ziani-Cherif is a board member of the American Science Publishing Group, editor in the Mediteranean Journal of Chemistry, an alumni of CSP (Chemical safety and Security Program). He is a tentative novelist with his first Novel “Presidential Conspiracy”. 

Ghislaine Benmiloudi

Human Resource & Institutional development coordinator 

Ghislaine Benmiloudi studied IT and tourism in Paris (France) where she worked for three years in the tourism sector. She started working at PAUWES in March 2016 as a Finance Junior consultant. Since 2017, she is working as a Human Resources coordinator, supporting the finance department.
