This call is open to candidates interested in pursuing studies at two PAU institutes: the Pan African University Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology, and Innovation (PAUSTI) in Kenya and the Pan African University Institute for Water and Energy Sciences – including Climate Change (PAUWES) in Algeria. PAUSTI focuses on research and education in basic sciences, technology, and innovation, while PAUWES offers specialized programs in water, energy, and climate change.

Students admitted into these programs will benefit from fully funded scholarships offered by the African Union Commission. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses, allowing students to focus entirely on their studies and research. Graduates of PAU programs have made significant contributions in their fields, driving innovation and policy development across Africa.

The application period opens on 20 February 2025 and closes on 20 March 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to prepare their documents in advance and submit their applications online via the official PAU application portal at www.au-pau.org/submission.
