PAUWES COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE
The PAUWES Community of Practice (CoP) is an online social collaboration platform that connect PAUWES students and alumni as well as researchers, practitioners and private-sector actors from PAUWES’ large network. To get in touch with and explore new collaboration, access at an updated post job, internship, scholarship funding opportunities in water and energy, to discuss with PAUWES students on a relevant topic, and to organize an online event, join our community of Practice at www.pauwes-cop.net

PEIC – THE PAUWES ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION CLUB
The PAUWES Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club’s (PEIC) main objective is to strengthen the capacity of PAUWES students, by cultivating the spirit of entrepreneurship that serves to provide solutions to Africa’s water, energy and climate change challenges. PEIC has previously held multi-day workshops with a focus on developing an ‘entrepreneurial mindset’. Learn more about the PEIC club here (link to website).
PAUWES is a hub of some of the best students from more than 25 countries all over Africa presenting an immense potential for ideas to locally sustainable solutions for African countries. There is need for African solutions in existing challenges in Water, Energy and Climate Change fields and since PAUWES is training professionals to meet this need, the club offers a platform for students to dialogue further into the practical elements of their academic experience and their background.
PAUWES Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club’s (PEIC) main objective is to strengthen the capacity of PAUWES students by cultivating the spirit of entrepreneurship that deliberately serves to provide solutions to Africa’s Water, Energy and Climate Change challenges.
Moreover the club’s specific objectives include providing a platform for students to actualize their entrepreneurial ideas and impact both PAUWES and Africa positively and to design linkages between their Master’s thesis and Entrepreneurship, in order to harness the entrepreneurship potential.
PAUWES CLIMATE CHANGE AND GENDER CLUB
The PAUWES Climate Change and Gender Club (PCCGC) seeks to harness and encourage innovative research and partnerships that will enhance climate change adaption and mitigation in Africa
To promote the integration of gender concerns in climate change responses in Africa through the establishment of a climate and Gender center in PAUWES
To create climate change awareness at all community levels across Africa
PCCGC also seeks to participate in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of environmentally related policies at local, national, and regional levels in Africa
