REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR PROVISION OF) FOR PROVISION OF INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR PROPERTY, PLANT &EQUIPMENT SERVICES

As part of the operationalization of the African Union Organ, The Pan African University Institute of Basic Sciences Technology and Innovation (PAUSTI) hereby invites all interested, experienced, and licensed General insurance Services Companies to submit proposals for Property Insurance Services in the PAUSTI Block under a Three-year contract based on performance. Details are listed in the Terms of reference attached.

Bidding is open to all Contractors who meet the eligibility criteria below:

1) Bidders shall be Registered Companies with a valid trading license

2) Minimum five years’ Experience in provision of Property insurance preferably with projects comparable in size and magnitude of the PAUSTI’S current requirement.

3) Signed bid form

4) Proof of Firm’s financial capacity for the last three years. (To be enclosed with the technical proposal)

5) Entries of joint venture should have a lead Company which should clearly state the members of the joint venture and a Memorandum of Understanding signed and sealed by all members.

6) Documentation accompanying the bid must be in English

• Format: Two-envelope system (Technical Proposal & Financial Proposal).
  • Financial Proposal must be password-protected and opened only if the Technical Proposal attains ≥70% score.
• Deadline: 30^thOctober 2026 at 17:00 Hours Nairobi Time (GMT+3)

NB: Physical submission of proposals will not be accepted.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days.Late bids will be rejected.
