THE COMMISSIONER FOR ESTI VISITS THE “ ECOLE SUPERIEURE DES SCIENCES APPLIQUES OF TLEMCEN” ON 22 MAY 2022
On the margins of his activities in Algeria as part of his working mission to the Pan-African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences including Climate Change (PAUWES), the Commissioner for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (ESTI), H.E. Prof. Mohammed Belhocine visited the headquarters of the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Appliquées of Tlemcen (ESSA) on 22 May 2022.
ESSA is an institution of higher education of excellence that offers high quality engineering training in scientific and technical fields and in specialties related to energy, energy transition, sustainable development, electrical engineering, automation and industrial engineering. The institute also has well-equipped teaching laboratories for practical work.
Warmly welcomed by the Head of the Institute, the ESTI Commissioner was invited to visit the Institute's premises, during which he was able to talk to some students who presented their highly innovative research work.
A presentation of the Institute and the different training courses offered was also made by the management of the Institute. The Commissioner was delighted to learn so much about the Institute and praised its innovative character. He encouraged the students to be more violent in innovation by always pushing their limits, and expressed the wish to see the emergence of cooperation between the Pan African University (PAU) and more specifically PAUWES and ESSA, to the benefit of the students of the two institutes, including those of PAUWES who could use the laboratories of ESSA within the framework of research work.
